This is a list of men who were photographed by Dick Bastasch and appear in the photo galleries. The spellings of names and places of origin are taken directly from writing on the 35 mm slide mounts.

The images in these galleries were scanned from 35mm Kodachrome slides. They are mostly of Dad's comrades, with a few shots of nose-art and Saipan scenery.

I have protected the images by applying a watermark to prevent unauthorized use. My intent is to have some control over who gets high-quality copies of the originals, available for the asking, mostly. Out of respect for the men who served, and their families, I just didn't want these images floating around cyberspace.

I have documented the images in two ways. First, I have recorded (literally) whatever labeling my Dad put on the slides themselves. Second, I have added some descriptions or commentary based what I recall Dad told me.
